Sherif is an MD with an MBA and over 21 years of experience in business and medicine. He has worked in every aspect of the medical and testing fields and is bringing his vast experience to the cannabis space.

Lab Director

Dr. Cooley earned his PhD as a bioanalytical chemist/plant biologist specializing in photosynthetic energy conversion and cellular bioenergetics. Subsequent to a successful professorial academic career researching the fundamental molecular causes of various disease including Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases he has spent almost ten years running food and drug testing facilities. Jason started his cannabis career by developing a state of the art R&D and QA/QC program for one of the biggest edible manufacturers in the state. Since this foray as a production side scientist, he has used his considerable analytical experience to help make cannabis testing safer and more efficient and is currently endeavored to make SQRD Labs a leader in cannabis testing in California as well as globally.

Nick brings a unique perspective to SQRD Lab with over 15 years of lab testing experience to go along with his 5 years of experience as an attorney.

Jhoselin’s expertise in testing cannabis, pharmaceuticals and developing methodologies has helped form SQRD Lab’s strong scientific foundation.
